Quick Tip Tuesday

Happy Tuesday Everyone!  Today I'm going to share some quick beauty tips that you may have not known.  These are all of the tips that I have found searching deep inside the walls of pinterest...well maybe not deep inside, but I did find them on pintereset!  

The first tip that I found is putting Elmer's Glue around your nails when your about to paint them.  You can then paint your nails and it doesn't matter if you paint outside your nails.  After you're done painting you can just peel the glue off.  Now you have perfectly painted nails!

 Do you know how to get evenly spaced polka dots when painting you nails?  If you don't I found the perfect technique!  

Next I have a great tip for your eyelashes using vaseline.  If you apply vaseline on your eyelashes after using mascara it will instantly take the clumps out.  You can also apply just vaseline to your eyelashes for a more natural look.  It will darken and lengthen your lashes.  Perfect for the days at the pool!  For more tips on vaseline check out this post.

The next tip is about how to apply foundation.

The last tip is yet another nail trick.  If you put your nail polish in the fridge for 15 minutes before applying it will go on smoother.

My Weekend Style

Hey Everyone!  Today I'm going to share an outfit that I wore over the weekend.  It consists of one main thing, a maxi dress.  I have been obsessed with maxi dresses lately.  They are the perfect clothing item.  They are nice and breezy and can keep you cool in the summer.  And you don't even have to think about your outfit, just throw on a maxi dress and you're good.  They can also be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.  In this case I just wore it as a casual weekend outfit.  READ MORE...

Really there is nothing that exciting, so I wouldn't want to bore you.  But I will tell you that the weather has finally warmed up!  It's finally starting to feel like summer, just in time for summer to start.  MN decided to skip spring and go from winter to summer...

Must Have Summer Accessories

Hey everyone!  Summer has started for most of us, even though it might not feel like it (uhmm MN).  But whether it's hot or cold we still have to have some great accessories in the summer!  We already have the cute flowy dresses and skirts but now we need some cute accessories to complete the look.  We all know the right accessories can turn anything you're wearing from drab to fab.

The first and most obvious accessories are flip flops.  Whether you're going to the beach, running errands, or wearing them as your everyday shoe everyone needs a fab pair of flip flops.  My favorite brand of flip flops is Tory Burch.  They are very comfy and super cute! (You can see how I styled them in my most recent OOTD)

The next accessory everyone needs is sunglasses.  I think almost everyone already has a pair of sunglasses, but you can never have to many.  I really like Ray-Ban sunglasses (who doesn't?)  I know they are pretty expensive, but you will get a lot of wear out of them.  I also really like going to Nordstrom Rack to find a pair, since they have so many quality designer pairs for half the price.

Next I think everyone should have some kind of hat.  Either a fedora or a big floppy hat.  Both are super cute and can be worn for many different occasions.  A fedora is good for every day wear.  While a floppy hat is good for a beach/pool day.

Next I think almost everyone carries a purse.  But in the summer you don't want a huge big tote bag that you have to lug around all day.  So I think cross body bags are great for summer.  They are small and light and you can have your hands free.  To see some of my picks for cross body bags check out this post.

Next, I think everyone goes to the beach/pool in the summer.  So we need a stylish bag for this.  I love the big straw totes.  You can fit everything in them.  Magazines, towels, sunscreen, clothes, etc.

Finally, we all love jewelry but it can get a bit annoying in the summer.  So I love the "friendship" type of bracelets.  Where they're just fun bright colored wrap bracelets.

This week I'm going to start getting back on my posting schedule of posting every other day.  So Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.  This weekend I spent a lot of time scheduling posts to go up in the upcoming weeks.

I finish school on Wednesday!  But before I get to that exciting day I have a ton of tests and finals that I have to do.  So if I'm absent from twitter or any other social media site that is why.
